Programs

Change does not only happen in a therapy office. Our programs give you practical, therapist-designed tools you can work through on your own time, at your own pace, from anywhere in Utah or beyond. Whether you are between sessions, not ready to book therapy yet, or you simply prefer to start on your own, this is a place to begin. Browse the current programs below to find one that fits what you are working on.

Self-Guided Help for Your Relationship, on Your Schedule

Available Programs

Right now you can start with Healing Roommate Syndrome, a self-guided program for couples who have drifted into feeling more like housemates than partners. It walks you through rebuilding the emotional and physical closeness that tends to fade over the years, using the same steps we use with couples in the office.

You will find the details and current price on the program card above. We add to this library over time, so it is worth checking back as new programs become available.

Our programs are self-guided courses built by a licensed marriage and family therapist, not generic advice pulled from the internet. Each one takes the same skills we teach couples in session and turns them into clear, doable steps you can follow at home.

There is no waiting room and no weekly appointment to schedule. You get instant access, you move at your own pace, and you can revisit the material whenever you need a refresher. For a lot of people, that lower-pressure format is exactly what makes it possible to finally start working on the relationship instead of putting it off for another month.

Who Our Programs Are For

These programs are a good fit if you want real tools without committing to weekly therapy right away. Couples use them to rebuild connection and communication between sessions or on their own. Individuals use them to work on their side of a pattern when a partner is not ready to participate yet.

They also work well for people who value privacy, or who live too far from an office to attend in person comfortably. What our programs are not is a replacement for care in a crisis. If you are dealing with abuse, or a situation that feels unsafe, a self-guided course is not the right starting point, and reaching out to a professional directly matters more.

Programs or Therapy: Which Is Right for You?

A program and therapy are not either-or, and the right starting point depends on where you are. A self-guided program is a strong first step if your relationship is basically stable, you are motivated, and you want tools you can apply on your own timeline. It is affordable, private, and available immediately.

Couples therapyis the better fit when the patterns feel stuck or when you want someone to guide the conversation in real time. If your fights escalate quickly, high conflict couples therapy is built for that specific pattern.

Many people combine the two, starting with a program and booking a few sessions when they want extra support. If you are not sure which makes sense for your situation, reach out and we will help you decide honestly, even if that means pointing you toward the option that costs us less.

How Our Programs Work

Every program is created by Payton Holt, LMFT, the therapist behind The Relationship Institute in Spanish Fork, so the guidance is grounded in real clinical work rather than trends. The approach is practical and skills-based: short lessons, concrete exercises, and steps you can put into practice the same day.

Once you enroll, you get access to work through the material on any device, whenever it suits you. You can go through a program solo or alongside your partner, and many couples do a lesson together and then talk it through. Access and pricing for each program are listed on its own page, so you always know what you are getting before you start.

Start Where It Feels Right

Ready to begin? Browse the programs above and start whenever you are, or book a consultation with Payton Holt, LMFT, at The Relationship Institute if you would rather talk it through with a therapist first. Either way, you are taking a real step toward the relationship you want.
